Case Description
G-Injas is a private school located at Lugbe, FCT of Nigeria. Her mission is “focusing on what counts and also teaching to count.
Schools often lack the Human resources to be effective and efficient at delivering the level of quality demanded. G-injas was faced with the challenge of recruiting valuable and knowledge tutors that could met up with its standard. Teachers contribute immensely to the building and presentation of content of a school. The traditional approach to recruitment has its limitations hence the need for Natavi to come in analyse the situation, design method of recruitment fit into G-Injas expectations and measure the responses from pupils, Parents and Administrator.
What We Did
Obtaining insight into the staffing challenges
We defined the staffing challenges. We obtained insight into the challenges of both the tutors and the pupils. We then proceeded to rate the tutors on certain indices using bayesian averages which resulted in knowing the factors that made some exceptional.
Considerations
The following factors were taken into cognizance during the process of recruitment: The skill set(communication, writing, delivery, use of modern tools, approachability, listening, creativity, adaptability etc), experience and education of the needed employees. There were four stages of the recuritment process which subjected the passion of the candidates to test.
Outcome
Within two months of the start of the project, the grades of the students went up, the level of retention improved, pupils were more interested at listening to the tutors, the tutor-pupil connection / participation improved, the School regained credibility for delivery and standards.
G-injas Private School said that they had tried this different process previously, but we were the only company to exceed their expectations, providing them with the needed human resources.
